My beloved mother, Ms. Wanda F. White-Ivy, was born on the west side of Chicago. The 3rd youngest of 6 from Ms. Barbara G. White on December 12, 1963. Her beloved mother Ms. Barbara G. White and her siblings, Tyrone, Dennis, Apache, and Tyron White preceded her in death.

"Wan Wan", as my mom was was dearly called by her family and friends, had a strong belief in God throughout her life. Mom was a proud graduate of Richard T. Crane High School in Chicago, Il and attended San Diego City Community College in San Diego, California. She was loved very much and had a heart of gold - she would give her last dollar and the clothes off her back.

At the age of 17 she met my dad, Mr. Andrew Ivy, II. who served in the military. In Chicago, Illinois, 1979, they were wed in Holy Matrimony and later moved to San Diego, California. Mom took immense joy in raising their one and only son, Mr. Andrew Ivy, III, the best she could.

I was her greatest treasure and she spent her life nurturing and supporting with unwavering love. Mom was a model, a dreamer, an artist, and a well known Flight Attendant with United Airlines. She was truly loved throughout the community. Whatever she laid her hands on and put her mind to, she mastered. She was education driven. Mom was a burst of fresh air and her smile of excellence that could light up an entire stadium. She eventually moved to Miami, FL to enjoy water, the arts, golfing, bowling, dancing, and traveling and don't forget her reggae music.

On Monday, October 27, 2025 nature called and God decided to bring her from earthly labor to heavenly rest.

Ms. Wanda F. White-Ivy leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her dedicated and loving son Mr. Andrew Ivy, III of Saint Louis, Missouri; sister Ms. Michelle White of Chicago, IL, Best Friend and Andrew's 2nd mother Ms. Phyllis ("Cookie") Johnson of San Diego, CA and God Mother Mrs. Charlene ("Pudding") King of Jonesboro, AR, and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mom is up in heaven living her best life. Mom will be truly missed.

God gained another angel, Wanda "Wan Wan" White Ivy White.
