IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Viola
Saddler
December 29, 1954 – November 5, 2025
Mrs. Viola Saddler was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on December 29, 1954 to the union of Sallie Lee and George Edwards. She was the 4th child of 9 children - 6 of her siblings and parents preceded her in death. She also suffered the pain of losing one niece, Sherrone Edwards, and one nephew, Darrell Lawson.
She confessed her love for Christ at an early age, under the guidance of her late Uncle Reverend Theodore T. Norman of True Love Missionary Baptist Church. She loved God with all her heart and found peace and comfort in his word. She was a believer that understood the importance of Christ.
She was a student of the Saint Louis Public School System, where she found her love for books.
Viola was a devoted wife and mother, known for her warmth and strength. She was happiest at home watching her favorite soap operas and spending time with family, sharing stories that always made her smile.
She cherished life and loved unconditionally; her kind spirit and gentle heart will be remembered and carried on through every life she touched.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her husband, Mr. Charles Saddler; her daughter, Joy; her grandson, Cortez; her great grandson, Cortez Jr.; her great grand daughter, Rylee; her siblings, Bernice and David Edwards; special niece, Leslie Freeny and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that became family.
