Patricia Ann Desha

Patricia Ann Desha was born on April 7, 1957, in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was lovingly raised by her mother, Delois Hill, and her stepfather, James Hill. Patricia graduated from Sumner High School in 1977.

She married and divorced at a young age and became the proud mother of twin boys, James and Vaugh. Patricia enjoyed dining out and spending time with friends and family. She also had a fondness for music and would often listen to her favorite tunes in her spare time.

Patricia was known for her honesty—if you asked for her opinion, she would tell you the truth without hesitation.

As the eldest of eight children, Patricia had two brothers, David and Michael, and five sisters: Sylvia, Barbara, Deborah, Janet, and Francine.

Recently, Patricia accepted Jesus Christ into her life. She battled cancer with grace and dignity for two years, leaning on her faith throughout. She loved listening to scripture and praying, and her faith in God never wavered.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her five sisters; a host of nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and her beloved son, James.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both brothers, and her son Vaugh.
