Obituary

Vernon Nobel Rollins of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026. He was born November 20, 1938 to Vera Lane and Nobel Rollins. He served 26 years in the United States Air Force and was stationed in many places including Zweibrucken, Germany, Homestead, Florida, Denver, Colorado and Austin, Texas. He was preceded by his first wife Bettye Grant and his second wife Kathleen Worsham. He is survived by 4 children Kathryn, Eric, Timothy and Michael Rollins. Vernon is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

Vernon had a strong faith in God and held firm to his religious belief. In his younger years he was fond of jazz and was an avid photographer. As he grew older, he loved to research and learn new things on the internet. He was known for saying "this too shall pass" and "right will prevail". Though he might be gone, his wisdom and knowledge and love will live on through the many lives he touched. Gone, but never forgotten, and always in our hearts.
