Deacon Kevin John Hearndon was born to the union of Mr. & Mrs. Otis and Neva Hearndon on March 4, 1960 in Saint Louis, Missouri who proceeded him in death. Deacon was affectionately known as "Scooter", and was the youngest of six. Scooter's siblings Gloria, Rodney, Roslyn, and Kenneth, proceeded him in death.

Deacon Kevin John Hearndon followed in his parents footsteps and was a proud 1976 graduate of The Mighty Tiger of Soldan High School. Deacon Kevin John Hearndon accepted Jesus Christ as at a young age at Saint Barbara Catholic Church in Saint Louis, Missouri and furthered is faith at First Baptist Church of Creve Coeur under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Michael E. Scott, Jr. and on July 2, 2023 became an ordained deacon. Scooter worked in the Environmental Department at DePaul Hospital. DePaul Hospital is where he met the love of his life Eloise Dukes. Scooter loved to listen to his Blues and DJ music. Scooter was a #1 Dallas Cowboys Fan.

Deacon Kevin John Hearndon went from earthly labor to Heavenly rest on March 14, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

He leaves to cherish his memory to the love of his life, Eloise Dukes of Saint Louis, Missouri; his brother Keith Hearndon of Saint Louis, Missouri; nieces, Jacki Hearndon and Lakisa Hearndon; nephews Kenton Hearndon and Andre Hearndon and great nieces and nephews and lots of cousins.
