Mary L. Miller was born on May 11, 1949, in Greenwood, MS, the 1st of 9 children born to Bobby T. Trussell, Sr. and Susie B. Turner Trussell.
In May 1969, Mary married Will Willis Miller in East St. Louis, IL. 1 child was born to this union, Kevin D. Miller, Sr. (Michelle).
Mary grew up in the West End Gospel Hall, where the gospel was preached. Mary was saved from God’s wrath by believing the Lord Jesus Christ died for her sins, was buried, and rose again on the 3rd day, I Corinthians 15:1-4. Mary, after being saved, was added to the fellowship at the West End Gospel Hall.
Mary graduated from Vashon High School, St. Louis, MO and attended classes at Southern Illinois University in East St. Louis, IL. Mary began employment with the City of St. Louis in 1998 and worked at Lambert International Airport until her retirement in 2015.
Mary’s mother, father, husband and 1 brother (Jerome Trussell) preceded her in death.
Mary has left her 2 children (Kevin Miller, Sr. and Jeree Miller) to mourn her passing from time into eternal life with her Lord Jesus Christ, her 4 sisters, Ann Hill, Bobby Jean Watkins, Gloria D. Stephens (Roger), Laberta/Lala Lewis, 3 brothers, Bobby Trussell, Jr., Terry Trussell (April) and James Darnell Trussell. Terry (April) lives in Denver, CO. Gloria (Roger) reside in Fairview Heights, IL; 5 sisters in law: Eddy Jean Jackson, Bobbie Millender, Bernice Miller, Evonne MacAfee and Denise Miller; 1 brother in law, Bernard Miller; 9 grandchildren, Avion Miller, Adrian Miller, Kevin Miller, Jr. (KJ), Devin Miller, Kaden Miller, Kavon Miller, Kezon Miller, Aria Miller, along with her best friends of many years, Barbara Mattox, Barbara Spearmam, Freda Clay and Sharon Rice and a whole host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members and friends.
