IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth Eugene

Kenneth Eugene Hearndon was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 14, 1954. He was the fourth child of six children born to Otis and Neva Hearndon who both preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, two sisters and one brother preceded him in death: Gloria, Roslyn and Rodney Hearndon.
Kenneth was baptized at St. Barbara Catholic Church. As of age he became an Alter Boy and followed the ranks. In 1992, St. Barbara closed one year before its one-hundred anniversary. In 1992, after the closing of few parishes they formed at St. Barbara and created the new St. Augustine Parish. Prior to that he played the guitar and sang in the choir, he was also the maintenance man and beyond many other positions, which he held until coming to his health failed him.
Kenneth held his regime of being, he was one chosen for Prayer, because he was one who held the utmost highest and strongest praying soul for the world. He wore through many Rosaries.
When St. Augustine formed Msgr. Robert Gettinger "Father Bob" led the flock. As we all know he was one of the Most High sent to us by Christ. Him and Kenny formed one of the highest Spiritual connections. He took Kenny up under his Wings and they flew on earth as none other. One could say he was the son he never had, but one upon this earth as being. He treated him to the highest, because he saw him like no others.
Kenneth graduated from Soldan High School, but in his younger days he enjoyed tumbling and was excellent. After graduating, per his father, he needed to work. He didn't tell him he took a position at St. Louis City Park and Recreation, he held his position with them for over twenty years striving, within he worked at Ford School and gave his abundance leading youths.
He was called on December 13, 2025, at 1:00 AM, from the plague of Prostate Cancer.
He would say to all men, "Get yourself checked!" He did, and submitted to it in 2008. Look at the years he survived from doing so... While enjoying watching Wrestling, Football, Westerns and Cooking Shows. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, a great host of relatives and two best friends, DeNean Smith and Eric Thomas and his church family of St. Augustine.
"Sometimes, when people decide to leave you for good, you have to let them, no matter how much you don't want them to. There are some things that are far beyond our control. Even if you have the strength to fight for them, you have to accept the cold harsh truth... the people that you can't live without, can live without you."
Loving Niece, Lakisa Hearndon
