In lieu of flowers, the family of Jewel Eileen Jacobs respectfully requests donations be made to Ready Readers, a non-profit that shares the joy and power of literacy with young children living in low-income neighborhoods in the St. Louis region. Ready Readers shares Storytimes with more than 13,000 children every week and distributes more than 120,000 new books for children's home libraries.
