Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Darnell Seddens Jr., who departed this life on July 16, 2026, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Gregory was a proud graduate of Vashon High School and a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend whose presence left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Gregory was born to the late Gregory Darnell Seddens Sr. and the late Carla Louise Snider. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmothers, June Tolbert and Mary Burston; and his beloved nephew, Kayden Seddens.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children, Gregory Darnell Seddens III, Titan Alexander Seddens, and O’Chun Blu Seddens; his devoted siblings, Jennifer, Stacey, Robert, Tierra, and Ariel Martin; his cherished nieces and nephews, Karli, Kiley, Khloe, and Mehki; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends.

Gregory was known for his confidence, exceptional talent as a barber, love of music, and unforgettable sense of humor. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people, bringing laughter and light into every conversation. Whether he was behind the barber’s chair, spending time with family and friends, or sharing his perspective on life, Gregory had a way of making those around him feel seen, encouraged, and valued.

He believed in the power of positive thinking and often reminded those around him to stay focused, keep striving, and never give up. His favorite expressions became words of encouragement that many will continue to carry with them:

“Speak things into existence.”
“Keep it moving.”
“Level up.”

Though his earthly journey ended far too soon, Gregory’s legacy lives on through his children, the love he shared with family and friends, the lives he touched, and the countless memories that will never fade.

His confidence, laughter, wisdom, and loving spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Forever in our hearts.

Forever in our memories.

Forever loved.
