Donna Roberts

Donna Marie Roberts, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was 64 years old.

Born on July 28, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri, Donna was the daughter of the late John Banks and Rose Darden. From the very beginning, she was a cherished member of a large, close-knit family, joyfully filling her role as the fifth of six siblings. This early experience shaped her into a woman of immense warmth and love.

Donna was educated in the St. Louis Public School system. Her strength of character and resilient spirit were evident to all who knew her.

Family was the cornerstone of Donna’s life. She was a devoted mother to her son, Anthony Darden, and grandmother to her grandson, Chance.

Donna was preceded in death by her father, John Banks; her mother, Rose Darden; and her beloved siblings, Cheryl Darden and Randell Darden. Their memories were held close to her heart throughout her life.

She leaves to celebrate her remarkable life and legacy her three loving brothers, Carlton, Kirk, and Carl; her devoted son, Anthony Darden; her cherished grandson, Chance; her dear aunt, Barbara (Mack) Mason; and a host of family and lifelong friends who will forever feel her absence.

Donna’s gentle soul, her unwavering love, and her kind heart touched everyone she met. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures: the laughter of her family, the comfort of a shared meal, and the bonds of friendship that lasted a lifetime. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we find peace in knowing her gentle spirit is at rest, reunited with those who went before her.

She will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
