David Holmes was born on June 8, 1952, in Shuqualak, Mississippi, to the late John Holmes and Rebbie Holmes. Raised with strong Christian values, David lived a life anchored in faith, family, and hard work.

He attended Beaumont High School in Saint Louis, Missouri, where he built lasting friendships and nurtured a love for learning that carried him throughout his life. David was dedicated to his work within the warehouse industry.

David was united in marriage to the late Pearlie Holmes, and together they raised their beloved daughter, Tenika Holmes. A devoted father, David found great joy in supporting and cherishing his family.

David is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rebbie Holmes; his brother, John Holmes Jr.; his sister, Bernice Holmes; his beloved wife, Pearlie Holmes; and his daughter, Tammy Holmes.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Tenika Holmes; sisters, Shirley Ann and Bernice Jean; his twin brother, Dale Holmes; his brother, Ozell Holmes; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure the love, laughter, and lessons he shared.
