Currie Ivy Moore Jr., known to family and friends as Bear, was born on March 25, 1972, the oldest son, to Nadine Lindsey Moore and Currie Ivy Moore Sr., in St. Louis, Missouri. Bear, as we all knew him, received his education in the St. Louis Public School system. He worked in different areas of the city and county as a security guard alongside his father, Currie Sr.

Bear loved his family, ready to protect, and was always willing to help if he was able. He was well known for his goofy grin and his hearty laughter. Bear was a gentle man, as long as you stayed on his good side.

Bear leaves to cherish his precious memories his son Nobile Nathan (his best friend); two daughters, Deanna and Breanna; four granddaughters, Miracle, Taylor, Aubrey, and Jayla; two grandsons, Marquise Jr. and Bruce Jr., his brother Joe, and a host cousins, aunts, uncles, and an abundance of friends. He also leaves behind Felicia, his very special friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Currie Sr; mother, Nadine; brothers Nathan, Nobile, and Pete; and sister, Ivy; grandparents Booker and Bertha Lindsey Sr.
