Ms. Alberta Magic was born on January 13, 1939, to the late Mr. John B. Simmons and Mrs. Lillie EulaKeglar Simmons. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Ms. Jennifer P. Brock.

At an early age, Ms. Magic gave her life to the Lord and served faithfully at St. Peter’s Rock Missionary Baptist Church. A devoted member and dedicated clergy, she was often called upon to sing as a soloist for funeral services, offering comfort through her powerful voice. Alberta also cherished preparing Sunday dinners for her family and friends—a treasured tradition that brought warmth, love, and togetherness to allwho gathered at her table.

Ms. Magic’s professional journey was defined by compassion and selflessness. She worked at Edgewater and Fairground Manor and later retired from the State of Missouri as a Nurse Assistant. Her life’s work was caring for others—always offering a gentle smile, a kind word, and an open heart to everyone she met.

On September 5, 2025, Mrs. Alberta Magic peacefully answered God’s call:

“Well done, my good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.”
